What's the difference between [[social science and social studies?

Social studies is the integration of the social sciences and the humanities. Social sciences is the field of science that studies society. Social sciences encompasses anthropology, archaeology, business administration, development studies, economics, geography, history, law, linguistics, political science, international relations, communication, and in some contexts, psychology.

Social studies is usually taught at the elementary and middle school level while the social sciences are common in college. Social sciences is rooted in early philosophy while social studies comes out of a need for civic competence. Both of these fields are similar in that they both deal with the study of people from a collective and community based standpoint.

However the perception of community is different in between the two fields. Community from a social sciences perspective is less defined than community from a social studies perspective. Source: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_sciences en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_studies.

A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
